The KfW IPEX-Bank of Frankfurt announced that it extended financing for 19 ships for export in 2010, including two ships for Norwegian Cruise Line and one ship for AIDA Cruises. Other vessels included five arctic vessels, six ro-ro ferries, three ro-pax ferries, one arctic tanker and one offshore vessel. KfW IPEX claims it is one of the largest ship financiers in the world and worked with export contracts totaling 2.4 billion euro in 2010.
