Disney: A Lucrative Place to Work

Most crew on any cruise ship will rarely say anything negative to passengers, much less reporters onboard. In the Disney Dream’s case, it’s another group of highly motivated and happy hotel employees working long hours on a brand new ship.

However, Cruise Industry News has been told by multiple crew members in “gratuities” positions that Disney Cruise Line is a good place to work. While this doesn’t seem very surprising, the added information is interesting: Compared to some other lines, families are prominent on Disney, meaning more work, but also, more people and thus more tipping.
