Royal Caribbean and Azamara: Dedicated Sales Force for Canadian Market

Royal Caribbean International and Azamara Club Cruises announce the creation of a dedicated sales team for the Canadian market. To exclusively lead the sales and marketing initiatives in the market, Lisa Connell has been appointed director of the cruise lines’ sales, marketing and tour operator partnerships, Canada, for the cruise lines.

“We are delighted to create a dedicated sales team to cater to Canadian travel agents and vacationers in order to further Royal Caribbean International and Azamara Club Cruises’ success in the market,” said Vicki Freed, senior vice president of Sales, Trade Support and Services, Royal Caribbean International. “We also are fortunate to have Lisa Connell lead a new team of business development managers to focus our efforts on this expanding market.”

With nearly 30 years experience in the travel industry, Connell most recently served as Key Account Manager, Canada, for Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises. She will be supported by a new Canadian sales team, comprising Business Development Managers Greg Duhaime for Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northwest Territories,  Janet Johnson for South Western Ontario, Chad Kowalenko for British Columbia and Yukon Territory, Eric St. Pierre for Quebec and New Brunswick and Cherry Santos for Eastern Ontario and Atlantic Canada (Halifax, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island) and Business Development Representatives, Daniel Diaz, Monica Moncada, and Chantal Rodriguez.
