Springmann to Assume Worldwide Deployment for Holland America + Seabourn

As part of its corporate reorganization following the relocation of Seabourn to Seattle, Holland America Line has expanded the responsibilities of Linda Springmann, vice president, Alaska marketing and sales. Currently, she is responsible for overall marketing of the company’s important Alaska CruiseTour program, and will now also handle worldwide deployment planning for both Holland America Line and Seabourn.  As Vice President, Planning and Alaska Tour Marketing, Springmann will report to Paul Goodwin, executive vice president, onboard revenue, planning, port operations and tours.

Springmann was appointed vice president in August 2007.  Prior to that Springmann served as director, North America and Caribbean marketing for Holland America Line with overall development, pricing, marketing and communications responsibility for the company’s products in the Caribbean, Canada/New England, Mexico, Hawaii, the Panama Canal as well as all holiday sailings.

Springmann has more than 20 years of cruise industry experience, as director of market planning at Princess Cruises, product manager for Holland America Line’s Alaska cruises and marketing director of Gray Line of Alaska.

A native of Salem, Ore., Springmann received her bachelor degree from Willamette University.  She serves on the board of the Seattle Aquarium.
