MSC Cruises cancelled the Dec. 19 seven-day voyage of the Musica due to what it called “a mechanical issue with the air conditioning system to avoid any discomfort to the passengers.”
All guests were offered a 100% refund of their cruise fare and taxes in addition to a 50% discount on any future cruise. MSC Brazil assisted the passengers in their travel needs and offered them accommodations for the night.
The Musica will resume service on Dec. 26 with a seven-day itinerary out of Rio de Janeiro calling in Salvador, Buzios, Copacabana and Ilha Grande
