Thomson Dream’s inaugural season with Thomson Cruises is drawing to a close with happy customers and an extremely proud crew on board. The ship has scored record highs in customer service questionnaires, with 100% of passengers* rating the service onboard as ‘good or excellent’ in recent weeks. On the recent Mediterranean Explorer itinerary, which included visits to ports in France, Italy and Corsica, 99% of passengers also rated the dining, entertainment and cabin accommodation as ‘good or excellent’.
David Selby, Director of Thomson Cruises, said: “Whilst we accept that there were challenges following Thomson Dream’s introduction to the fleet in April, the CSQ scores and customer feedback over the summer as a whole have underlined the efforts our crew have put in to deliver a fantastic cruise experience to all our customers. We are confident that the ship will have a long and successful career with Thomson Cruises, continuing with this winter’s Caribbean itineraries.”
Tomorrow (Tuesday, 26 October), the ship will sail in to Harwich before heading to Hanover for a six week dry dock period. After this, Thomson Dream will be sailing 14-night Caribbean itineraries with visits to Honduras, Colombia and Barbados. The highlight will surely be when the ship visits the colourful city of Havana, Cuba – something that large American ships simply aren’t able to do.
