The Asia Cruise Association (ACA) welcomes another major cruise company, Carnival Australia, as its newest member. It now joins ACA cruise line members Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Silversea Cruises and Star Cruises to charter the growth of the cruise industry in Asia.

Since its incorporation in late 2009, the ACA has been actively pursuing cruise industry stakeholders to join the Association to champion new developments for the industry.

The addition of Carnival Australia is not only an added boost to the ACA’s membership, but also an additional source for ideas to help propel the Asian cruise industry forward.

“The cruise market in the Asia-Pacific region is expanding at a rapid rate. We, at Carnival Australia, believe that the demand and trend for cruise vacations will continue to grow further. This presents abundant opportunities for our cruise industry in areas of professional and commercial development. It is apt to have a cruise association like the ACA that can represent and serve the interests of the cruise industry in Asia. Carnival Australia is pleased to join the ACA and looks forward to actively participating in the development of the cruise industry in the Asia-Pacific region,” commented Jenny Lourey, Senior Vice President of Carnival Australia.

With the admission of Carnival Australia to the ACA, the Association now has a total of 30 members, which is comprised of eight cruise line members and 22 associate members.
