Amerigo Perasso Steps Down as President & CEO of Silversea

(Silversea Press Release) : It is with regret that we communicate the resignation of Amerigo Perasso as President & CEO of Silversea Cruises. After 13 years of dedicated service, Amerigo has decided that he needs to move on and find new challenges and the renewed stimulus for further professional development.

Amerigo, a lawyer by training, joined Silversea in 1997 as legal counsel and developed over the years, moving to financial responsibilities where he eventually covered the role of CFO, and taking over the role of President & CEO in 2007. During the last few years, Silversea strengthened its position within the market, growing its capacity by 40% following the addition of Prince Albert II and the Silver Spirit.
