In San Diego, the Porto Vista Hotel is promoting itself to cruise passengers, offering those who stay at the hotel two days prior to their cruise free parking for those two days and 50 percent off for parking during their cruise. Hotel staff will also transport passengers to and from the airport or the cruise terminal. A spokesperson called the hotel “re-imaged, modern and European style,” with an award-winning restaurant, the Glass Door; rooftop deck with a view of San Diego Bay and downtown; and a salon and day spa.
