August 2, 1996 – Dawn Princess, the twin sister to the Sun Princess, met water for the first time during her inaugural “float out” at Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard.
The 14-story vessel, the second of Princess’ $1.3 billion dollar Grand Class expansion, will include two start-of-the-art showrooms and two main dining rooms, 24-hour alternative dining, an ocean-view fitness center and more than 400 cabins with private balconies.
