The Yachts of Seabourn experienced record one-week booking volume and attracted the largest number of first-time guests during the first week of April. The high booking numbers, signaling an increasing demand for luxury cruising, prompted Seabourn to offer a new promotion featuring the line’s best fares ever with prices starting from $2,499 for a seven-day voyage.

Last week, the company offered a one-week sale and as a result, saw its booking numbers surge 98 percent compared to the same period last year, making it the biggest booking week of the year. The line also attracted a record number of first-time guests ever in a one-week period, up 125 percent compared to the prior year.

“Travelers continue to seek the best value for their money, and we are pleased to offer our best fares ever on even more cruises this year,” said Pamela C. Conover, Seabourn’s President and CEO. “Based on the positive response we received to last week’s sale, guests are clearly finding tremendous value in our cruises and are very eager to travel well and experience Seabourn-style cruising.”

The new promotion includes two-for-one cruise fares with round-trip air, or cruise-only savings up to 65 percent. The offer encompasses 54 Europe and Asia cruises of seven to 14 days, and departing between June and November 2010, on all five of the company’s intimate vessels. Seven-day Mediterranean cruises aboard Seabourn Spirit, Seabourn Legend, and Seabourn Odyssey begin from $2,499 per person for cruise-only, or $3,550 with inclusive air. Nine-to-12-day Northern Europe voyages on the new Seabourn Sojourn start from $4,999 cruise-only or $6,400 with inclusive air. Cruises of 10 to 14 days in Asia aboard Seabourn Pride start from $3,499 cruise-only and $5,400 with air. Inclusive air is available from 40 North American gateways.
