AIDA’s Eight Ships Calling at 160 Ports in 2011/2012

AIDA Cruises will be calling at more than 160 destinations from April 2011 to April 2012 and has released its new brochure AIDAtime 2011/2012   New cruises include voyages to the Black Sea and in the Red Sea. The AIDAaura sails a 14-day cruise to the Black Sea and ports such as Sochi, Odessa and Varna from June to August 2011. In November 2011 and from March to April 2012, the AIDAblu will sail seven-day cruises in the Red Sea.

The Aura and AIDAluna will return to the Caribbean.  In addition to 14-day cruises, the AIDAluna offers additional six-day and eight-day sailings. On her way to the Caribbean the Luna will also sail on the East Coast, calling in New York.

There will also be one-week cruises in Southeast Asia in addition to the 14-day routes. In November 2011 and February 2012, the AIDAdiva will sail seven-day voyages from Singapore and Bangkok.

Aida’s next new vessel, the AIDAsol, will be christened in Kiel April 9, 2011. The Sol will spend the summer in the Baltic.

With early booking discounts, passengers can save up to 600 euros per person and, at the same time, enjoy all the “AIDA premium benefits,” according to a press release from the cruise line, “such as free choice of cabin.” The early booking benefits apply to bookings made up to Oct. 31, 2010 for all cruises up to Oct. 30, 2011, and up to March 30, 2011 for all cruises with a later departure date.
