New Shore Excursion Finder for Crystal Guests

How do I find the perfect excursion for the whole family?  What if I want high adventure, or more exclusive experiences?  How do I find excursions that include nature and wildlife, but aren’t too physically challenging?  Beginning today, Crystal Cruises is introducing its Shore Excursion Finder, a dynamic new online feature allowing travelers to search and sort more than 1,500 Crystal Adventures ashore by specific parameters they choose.

Searching by Activity Types, foodies can find tours that take them to Chateau Smith-Haut-Lafitte for a four-course dinner and wine tasting, or a tapas cooking lesson in Barcelona.  History buffs can search the “Cultural/Historical” options and find hundreds of choices suiting their interests, while water and nature lovers have categories specifically for them.  In all, there are 12 Activity Types, including Culinary, Cultural/Historical, Eco-Adventure/Wildlife/National Park, Entertainment, Flightseeing, Sightseeing, Outdoor, Sports, Water, Overland, the line’s Signature Collection and NEW Adventures.

Undecided guests can also search by Destination and Activity Level, with difficulty ranging from “Soft” to “Extreme” Adventure.   To further hone one’s search results, simply search by all categories simultaneously.   Excursions can then be sorted by Age Appropriateness from age 3 to adults only, or Walking Level to specify preferred physicality.

Crystal is expecting Shore Excursion Finder to be a great tool to help choose a cruise.  Guests can select an itinerary based on their ideal shoreside experiences.  Voyage suggestions are provided with each Crystal Adventure.

“Crystal is all about choices, and the Shore Excursion Finder provides guests the freedom to explore and easily locate numerous specific choices that best suit their needs and desires,” says John Stoll, director of land programs.  “It’s an efficient, invaluable tool for planning and researching possibilities, as well as finding activities that satisfy an array of interests.”
