The Québec City Ice Hotel is Celebrating Its 10th Anniversary

North America’s only Ice Hotel will be celebrating its 10th anniversary from Jan. 4 to April 4, 2010.

Since its founding nine years ago, the Ice Hotel has welcomed over a half a million of visitors, 25,000 guests on an overnight stay, more than 130 couples who were married in the Ice Chapel, and over 75,000 guests at different events. Entirely redesigned every year, the Ice Hotel offers 36 rooms and themed suites, an Ice Café, a majestic chandelier, an Ice Slide, and even an Ice Bar where guests can unwind with a cocktail served in a glass made of ice, very refreshing!

The oldest fortified city in North America, francophone Québec City is on the St. Lawrence River and its skyline is marked by the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac. Its old town has been designated a UNESCO World heritage site. Continental Airlines operates non-stop flights daily that are only an hour and a half away from New York.
