Port Everglades plans to have an official opening of its new Cruise Terminal 18 on Nov. 6. It is said to be the world’s single largest cruise-ship terminal, and will be home to the Oasis of the Seas later in November, to be joined by the Allure of the Seas next year. According to Royal Caribbean International CEO and president Adam Goldstein, the embarkation time from the curb to the 5,400-passenger ship is estimated at 15 minutes.
