Seadream Names VP Sales, the Americas

Gretchen Bell has been named Vice President Sales, the Americas, for SeaDream Yacht Club. A member of the original SeaDream team that put together the operation in 2001, Bell has served as director of business development and national accounts since that time.

Bell steps into her new role following staff reorganization in January this year when SeaDream owner and chairman Atle Brynestad took over the reins as CEO. At that time he named Bob Lepisto, also a member of the original SeaDream team, as president. Lepisto had been senior vice president worldwide sales and marketing.

Bell will oversee the SeaDream North American business development staff, plus that of Brazil and also continues her responsibilities for the national accounts program as well as relationships with international yacht brokers.

She will continue to be based in SeaDream’s Miami headquarters and will report to Lepisto. Before joining SeaDream in 2001, Bell was with Cunard Line where she was director of national accounts. She was previously with Royal Caribbean and before that with Commodore Cruise Line. Bell began her travel industry career in 1978 as a retail travel agent.
