Great Britain is hosting its second annual National Cruise Week Sept. 20 to 27, featuring such a range of deals on offer that there has never been a better time to sail away, according to the Passenger Shipping Association (PSA). Cruise deals are offered on www.discover-cruises.co.uk, a site provided by the PSA.
A record one-and-a-half million Brits took a cruise last year with trends showing that more people are now choosing to sail from a UK port, the PSA stated.
New ships being introduced, include ships dedicated to the UK such as P&O Cruises’ Azura, Cunard Line’s Queen Elizabeth and Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Eclipse, all of which launch in 2010.
