Louis Names ex-NCL Ship

The new name for the Norwegian Majesty – which Louis will take over in December – is the Louis Majesty, Cruise Industry News has learned.

The 1,462-passenger vessel will sail from Genoa and Marseille on seven- to 10-day cruises.

“There will be some refreshing as far as refurbishment goes, making the ship more ‘Louis.’ But nothing that major this year,” a company spokesperson said.

The Majesty and the 1,200-passenger Cristal, both built in 1992, are the newest ships in the Louis fleet.
