MSC Cruises and the Europ Assistance Group (known as CSA Travel Protection in the U.S.), both leaders in their respective industries, recently signed a global agreement to create and offer a personalized worldwide travel assistance and insurance program.
This major agreement, which is being centralized and managed by the Europ Assistance Group within the same unit internationally and CSA Travel Protection in the U.S., will enable MSC Cruises to offer its guests in 16 countries – including the United States and Canada – a complete range of travel insurance and assistance options in compliance with local insurance legislation while keeping in consideration different consumption patterns and the attitudes of risks to its local guests.
Developed on behalf of MSC Cruises, this range of travel assistance and insurance solutions was tailored by Europ Assistance Group’s (CSA Travel Protection in the U.S.) highly original and cutting-edge approach to insurance coverage personalization.
An innovative addition to the cruise industry, this global agreement will enable MSC Cruises to further reinforce its position as a quality cruise operator in the tourism market while simultaneously supporting its rapid growth by offering its guests a competitive advantage.
MSC Cruises’ longstanding relationship with Europ Assistance in the Italian market is evident in this agreement by its dynamic approach to marketing when it comes to offering high-performance products and services customized for international customers and the emerging consumer needs.
MSC Cruises is the largest entirely-European cruise line and has the most modern fleet in the world. In 2008, it welcomed on board more than 800,000 passengers.
