Silversea is now offering travel agents a 5% bonus commission for all bookings made before February 28th for 2009 departures on the Prince Albert II; the latest addition to the Silversea fleet.

This purpose-built 132 passenger expedition ship has an ice-strengthened hull and will be taking scheduled voyages to both the world’s Polar Regions this year. The vessel enjoyed a highly successful inaugural trip to the Arctic in 2008 and will be returning in June 2009. Voyages to Antarctica are available in January, February, November and December 2009, with itineraries ranging from 11 to 17 days. The Prince Albert II offers cruisers the opportunity to see parts of the world not possible on other non-expedition ships, combined with the luxury and excellent service with which Silversea is renowned.

All excursions are taken with a team of experts including historians, geologists, environmental scientists and marine biologists to ensure cruisers gain as much from each once in a lifetime experience as possible; be it spotting polar bears or visiting the remote volcanic island of Jan Mayen.
