Pacific Sun a Day Late After Yacht Rescue

P&O’s Pacific Sun arrived in Brisbane on Sunday a day late after detouring to respond to a distress signal, according to Australian newspapers.

The ship rescued four people off a sinking yacht that had struck a reef in the Coral Sea, the Brisbane Times reported.

The Pacific Sun was returning to Brisbane after a seven-day cruise to New Caledonia, the Loyalty Islands and Vanuatu.
