Turkey Reports Deal to Bring More AIDA Calls

Officials at the Turkish port of Antalya hinted Tuesday that a deal had been struck with AIDA Cruises for 30 summer calls in 2010, according to the Anatolia news agency.

AIDA representatives would not comment on plans to visit the Mediterranean port, saying itineraries for 2010/2011 were not final yet.

Efe Hatay, director general of Port Akdeniz Antalya, was quoted by the Today’s Zaman newspaper as saying AIDA will disembark some 120,000 passengers annually during calls at the port.
