From 1 September 2008, the new management model for business area Cruise & Ferries, announced 2 July, will be implemented. Counting for more than 50 percent of the revenues, Cruise & Ferries is the largest business area in Aker Yards and will have three senior managers in the corporate Executive Management Team.

Juha Heikinheimo will be executive vice president for Sales & Marketing for the entire business area, and the entities Cabins, Solutions and Life Cycle Services will also report to him. Martin Landtman becomes president of Aker Yards OY, while Jacques Hardelay continues as president for Aker Yards France SA.
