Silversea Changes

Amerigo Perasso has been promoted to president of Silversea Cruises, replacing Albert Peter, who is now deputy chairman of Silversea Leisure and Travel, an affiliated company. Perasso, who has served as CFO since 2004, and joined Silversea in 1997, will be based in Monaco.

David Morris has been promoted to executive vice president, worldwide sales and marketing. Morris will continue to be based in Silversea’s Ft. Lauderdale offices.

In related news, Cruise Industry News has learned that Silversea has abandoned its IPO in Norway and is instead considering an offering in London.
