Royal Caribbean International announced recently that it plans to deploy the Rhapsody of the Seas in Asia, starting in December 2007, offering cruises from Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Royal Caribbean expects to source passengers from what it calls the Asian market and Pan-Asia regions, with India, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East as strong secondary source markets. So far, the Rhapsody will be in Asia through May of 2008.
