Royal Caribbean: New Operations Group Launched

Royal Caribbean International (RCI) has announced the creation of a new brand operations group to be headed by Adam Goldstein. Formerly senior vice president of Total Guest Satisfaction, Goldstein will now serve as executive vice president of brand operations. His areas of oversight will include fleet operations, newbuildings, marketing and sales, international, supply chain management, and Royal Celebrity Tours.

“By creating a separate operations group under Adam, we are able to give the Royal Caribbean brand the greater visibility and focus and the dedicated management it needs to achieve even greater success in the future,” said RCI President Jack Williams.

Now reporting to Goldstein, Harri Kulovaara formerly senior vice president of marine operations becomes senior vice president of fleet operations. As such, Kulovaara will oversee Total Guest Satisfaction and marine operations (for RCI) in addition to newbuildings (for both RCI and Celebrity Cruises).

Dan Hanrahan continues as senior vice president of marketing and sales, but will now also oversee itinerary planning for both brands. He is joined by Lisa Bauer, who bas been appointed senior vice president of North American sales.
