Hyundai Cuts Back in North Korea

Hyundai Merchant Marine has decided to cut back its North Korea cruises to one ship, the 1,000-passenger Hyundai Kumgang (ex-Superstar Capricorn), due to lack of demand. The cruise program was a personal cause of Hyundai founder Chung Ju Ung, who passed away last month. Following his death, Hyundai has become embroiled in a bitter feud amongst Chung’s heirs, with several of its operating companies near bankruptcy.
