Star Cruises Sells Two Ships

Star Cruises has announced that it has sold the two vessels it acquired from Sun Cruises for $33 million. The 1991-built 100-passenger Megastar Capricorn and Megastar Sagittarius are the former Sun Viva I and II, ex-Renaissance V and VI.

The Megastar Sagittarius has been acquired by Cruises West and launches service as the Spirit of Oceanus in April 2001.
