AMCV 1997 Q3

American Classic Voyages (AMCV) has reported net income of $2.8 million, or $0.19 per share, on revenues of $49.7 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 1997, compared to net income of $2.9 million, or $0.21 per share, on revenues of $49.8 million for the third quarter of last year.

Included in the 1997 results were $700,000 of expenses from the relocation of American Hawaii Cruises from Chicago to New Orleans and costs incurred in planning for expansion in Hawaii.

Third quarter revenues in 1996 included $1.7 million from the Maison Dupuy Hotel which was sold in October 1996.
