Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG) has reported that Celebrity Cruises posted total net income of $3.2 million on revenues of $76.3 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 1993. For the six month period ended June 30, 1993, Celebrity reported net income of $4.9 million on revenues of $154 million. OSG holds a 49 percent interest in Celebrity Cruises.
OSG, which owns and operates a bulk fleet of 59 vessels, reported its total net income to be $5.5 million, or EPS of $.17, on revenues of $94.7 million for the second quarter, compared to net income of $1.5 million, or EPS of $.05, on revenues of $89.6 million for the second quarter of 1992.
For the first half of 1993, net income was $10.4 million, or EPS $.32, compared to net income of $27.9 million, or EPS $.85, for the same period last year, including $16 million, or EPS $.49, from an accounting change.
