Sitmar Orders Two Ships

Sitmar Cruises has ordered two new cruise ships from Chantiers de l’Atlantique, for a total of U.S. $300 million.

The twin ships, scheduled for delivery in 1988 and 1989, will be 60,000 tons each, with a passenger capacity of 1,600. The itineraries have not yet been announced. Sitmar also said it will keep its existing ships.
