RCCL In Bermuda Market to Stay

As Nordic Prince nears completion of her first season sailing between New York and Bermuda, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line reports that the line is pleased with the results.

“Bermuda represents a relatively untapped market for RCCL, and we plan continued expansion there in the future,” said Rod Mcleod, V.P. of sales and marketing, adding that Nordic Prince has been sailing at near capacity in the last 1 1/2 months.

Nordic Prince will repeat her itinerary in 1986, departing New York on Wednesdays rather than Saturdays, with 19 one-week sailings between May 7 and September 10. According to Mcleod, no other cruise ships will be in Bermuda over the week-end, and this four-day shift will allow Nordic Prince to have the week-end Bermuda market to herself.
