when the government put a stop to cruise
ships in January 2020. Being the last mar-
ket to reopen, the back end of 2023 and
2024 will be about getting back into the
normal swing of business. 

The big cruise companies rushed into China a decade ago. By all
accounts, they are taking a measured approach for now. Disciplined
capacity growth will be key to a sustainable Chinese market going
forward. 
